THE PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

IDENTITY DATA includes title, first name and last name

CONTACT DATA includes billing address, email address and telephone numbers

Directly – You may give us your name and contact details by filling in our contact form or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances to reply to your enquiry through our contact form, to confirm bookings, to send invoices/receipts and to pass details to one of our dealers to contact yourselves if agreed by yourself for them to do so.

Replying to contact forms and email enquiries – this means we will use the data you have given to be able to reply to you with pricing and other enquiries.

Confirming bookings – this means we may contact you via email, telephone or text to confirming your forthcoming appointment.

Sending documentation – this means we may contact you via email or through the post to provide you with your invoice/receipt or any other relevant documentation.

Provide to a CC Tuning Authorised Dealer – this means if you give permission we will pass your details onto one of our authorised dealers to contact you with regards to your enquiry. Once that data has been given to the authorised dealer (all dealers are independant companies) they have the responsibility to maintain security of your personal informtion under their own privacy policy.

Comply with a legal or regultory obligation – this means processing your personal data where it is necessary for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation that we are subject to.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers including contact, identity, financial and transaction data for 6 years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

The right to request that we provide you with your personal data and where possible, to transmit that data directly to another data controller, (known as the right to data portability), where applicable ie. where our processing is based on consent or is necessary for the performance of our contract with you or where we process your data by automated means);

The right, where theere is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, to request a restriction is placed on further processing;

The right to object to our processing of personal data, where applicable ie. where processing is based on our legitimate interests (or in performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority); direct marketing or processing for the purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics).

TIME LIMIT TO RESPOND

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
