VEHICLE REMAPPING
At CC Tuning we develop all our own software in house using our 4wd dyno whilst carrying out data log checks on the vehicles ECU. We are able to develop software by adjusting individual or multiple maps like fuel, timing, boost pressure, various limiters and much more whilst testing on the dyno. This was we can see what effect it has on your engine and performance without effecting reliability and longevity of your engine.
CUSTOM ECU REMAPPING
We offer custom engine remaps for both diesel and petrol vehicles. Our maps are custom written in house therefore we can set your car up to your specifications, for example high torque, low torque or different power outputs as long as the vehicle is safe to do so. We carry out a number of tests and checks including diagnostics and data logging whilst we are modifying the cars engine software. Whilst carrying out these tests we check various amounts of data on the vehicle to make sure that we are keeping primary functions safe eg.exhaust gas temperatures and air fuel ratio. We will also perform before and after dyno runs on our all wheel drive dyno so that we can show you the increase in power that has been achieved.

HOW LONG WILL THE REMAP TAKE TO BE COMPLETED?
As our maps are developed in house on the dyno times can vary from car to car but usually take between 2-6 hours to be completed.
WILL THE LIFESPAN OF MY ENGINE BE REDUCED AFTER THE REMAP?
No. Our remaps are designed specifically to improve the performance of your vehicle whilst remaining within the tolerances of the manufacturers specifications keeping the exhaust gas temperatures within safety limits. This prevents any excessive wear to engine components.
DO I NEED TO PREPARE MY VEHICLE FOR THE REMAP?
Before you have the remap carried out you should make sure that the vehicle is in a good serviceable condition so brakes, tyres and engine have no faults. Oil level is set to the correct level and you should have at least half a tank of fuel.
DO I NEED TO NOTIFY MY INSURANCE COMPANY FO THE REMAP?
We recommend you notify your insurance company of any modifications to your vehicle. Many companies do not penalise you for upgrades of this nature however failure to disclose modifications may invalidate your policy. You may wish to speak with your insurer if the modification will affect your policy prior to choosing one of our services.
CAN THE REMAP BE REVERSED?
Yes. We offer this service free of charge if you bring the vehicle back to us. Additionally, should you lose your tuning files due to dealer actions we will be happy to reinstall the map onto your car free of charge where possible.
